Wokeism is not a fashion. It is a state religion that has replaced the catechism with guilt. Its sacraments: the pronoun, the chequered flag, the "unconscious bias" workshop. Its sins: being a man, being White, being a Quebecer without apologising, saying that a woman does not have a penis.

People laughed. Then it took the school. Then the workplace. Then the hospital. Then the Criminal Code.

What it dismantles

It dismantles the family: the father becomes a suspect, the mother a "birthing person", the child a material to be reassigned.

It dismantles the school: less of Quebec's history is taught than the shame of having one. Dollard is unwelcome. Gender, on the other hand, has textbooks.

It dismantles the language: the right words are no longer spoken. Woman, man, nation, invasion, Islamisation — every accurate word becomes a "violence".

It dismantles the law: C-16, then C-9. Heresy is now called hate.

The glove and the fist

Wokeism is the glove. Antifa is the fist. One forbids you to speak. The other forbids you to enter. Together they hold the street, the campus and the news feed.

This is not "inclusion". It is a moral replacement. The historic majority is driven out of its own story, declared guilty by birth, and asked to efface itself to make room — in the classrooms, in the hiring competitions, in people's heads.

Why Quebec

Because a small people has less margin. When you take its memory, its language and its right to name things, what remains is not "diverse". What remains is administered.

Wokeism hates concrete nations. It loves administrations. So it sits very comfortably in the Canada of Trudeau and Carney. It sits less comfortably in a Quebec that would still like to be a country.

I do not have to apologise for being a woman, a Quebecer, born somewhere. I do not have to kneel before an imported liturgy.

You do not include a people. You either replace it, or you defend it.

Let us bring back common sense.
